Job summary

NN Group in The Hague is looking for a Senior Engineer Devices & Peripherals to design, automate and improve our endpoint ecosystem, combining Apple management, Azure automation and workplace hardware expertise. You’ll work hands-on while shaping ways of working and aligning stakeholders to move NN forward as a true change advocate.

You will design, build and operate macOS and iOS workplace solutions, implement Azure-based device provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management, and mentor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• At least 5 years of experience in endpoint engineering or modern workplace engineering
• Strong experience with Apple technologies, including macOS and iOS management
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and automation solutions
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash and Zsh
• Solid knowledge of endpoint hardware, peripherals and lifecycle management
• Experience with security, compliance and operational excellence in an enterprise environment
• Ability to simplify complexity using automation and standardisation
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Proficiency in English; Dutch is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain modern macOS and Mobile workplace solutions
• Develop and operate Azure-based automation for device provisioning, configuration, compliance and lifecycle management
• Automate recurring operational activities and simplify processes through standardisation and reusable engineering patterns
• Validate, test and manage endpoint hardware and peripherals, including compatibility, stability, performance and security
• Contribute to meeting-room and room-system technology, including hardware, software and integrations
• Drive lifecycle management and compliance activities across the Devices & Peripherals portfolio
• Create clear technical documentation, runbooks and operational handovers
• Collaborate with Digital Workplace engineers, Security, Architecture, Support, Facilities and suppliers
• Set technical direction, improve standards and mentor colleagues within the team
• Share knowledge and help reduce dependency on individual experts
