Job summary

Wlgroup in Brunssum is seeking a network engineer to design, configure and integrate enterprise network infrastructure for deployable communications kits. You will take builds through test, validation and deployment, including support to exercises and implementation projects.

You will also support production deployments and the operational network once live, producing procedures and documentation, maintaining CM records, and liaising with platform, security and service teams to report on

Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant experience or five years of strong practical experience.
• Five+ years of progressive network engineering experience (design, implementation, configuration, deployment, support).
• Experience delivering in operational or project environments, not only in a lab.
• Proven ability to write documentation that engineers can follow.
• Professional English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure and integrate enterprise network infrastructure for deployable communications kits.
• Take builds through test, validation and deployment, including support to exercises and implementation projects.
• Support production deployments and the operational network once live, at engineering level.
• Produce implementation procedures, test plans, standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
• Maintain configuration management records so the estate is knowable.
• Work with platform, security and service management teams; report monthly on performance.
