Job summary

Wlgroup in Brunssum, Netherlands, seeks an experienced network engineer to design, configure and deploy enterprise networks for deployable communications kits used in NATO missions. You will drive builds from testing through deployment and provide ongoing support for live operational networks.

The role requires documentation expertise and professional English, with on-site work in Brunssum and occasional travel to other European locations.

Qualifications

Degree in computing, engineering or telecommunications or 5+ years strong practical experience.
Five+ years progressive network engineering design, implementation and support.
Experience delivering in operational environments, not only lab.
Proven ability to write clear implementation procedures and documentation.
Professional English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

Design, configure and integrate enterprise network infrastructure for deployable communications kits.
Take builds through test, validation and deployment, including support to exercises.
Support production deployments and the operational network once live.
Produce implementation procedures, test plans and technical documentation.
Maintain configuration management records for traceability.
Collaborate with platform, security and service management teams and report on performance.
