Job summary

Dyflexis is hiring a Senior Database Administrator to keep our multi-cluster database infrastructure fast, stable, and scalable. You’ll review queries, oversee migrations, and guide scaling strategies while ensuring data is managed consistently across teams.

You’ll work closely with the Platform team and developers to embed database best practices from the start, maintaining high standards and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a database administrator or database engineer.
• Experience with fintech, HR tech, SaaS, or ticketing platforms is a plus.
• Deep expertise in MySQL and at least one other DBMS such as Postgres, Oracle or MSSQL Server.
• Familiarity with PHP to read/review queries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure performance, stability and scalability of database infrastructure across clusters.
• Review and optimise queries, oversee migrations and scaling strategies.
• Collaborate with Platform team and developers to consider database early in projects.
• Write and maintain standards for database work across teams.
