Job summary
BIQH Financial Data Services seeks a Senior Database Administrator (Microsoft SQL Server) in the Netherlands to optimize and maintain a high-availability SQL Server environment supporting a rapidly growing fintech platform. Qualifications
- Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Good understanding of SQL Server architecture, performance tuning and administration.
- Experience monitoring SQL Server activity and identifying performance bottlenecks.
- Experience planning and executing upgrades and migrations is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Optimize and maintain the SQL Server environment to ensure performance and reliability as the platform grows.
- Analyze queries and execution plans, improve import processes and optimize statements.
- Monitor database health, implement best practices for performance, maintenance, security and high availability.
- Plan and execute upgrades and migrations to newer SQL Server versions with minimal downtime.
