Job summary

TUI is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Customer Data Science & AI team in a hybrid, full-time role. You will develop machine learning models and AI solutions to solve complex business challenges and deliver measurable value across TUI.

You will translate business needs into technical solutions, collaborate with analytics, technology, engineering and business teams, and help deploy scalable, production-ready models while mentoring colleagues and advancing our data science capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field (data science, statistics, mathematics, CS or economics).
• Minimum 3+ years applying data science and ML to real-world problems.
• Strong knowledge of ML algorithms and statistical methods.
• Advanced Python programming and modern DS libraries/tools.
• Experience with end-to-end DS lifecycle from discovery to production deployment.
• Experience with predictive modelling, recommender systems, personalization or similar.
• Strong communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Nice to have: AWS, Snowflake, MLOps, GenAI/LLMs, RAG, travel/e-commerce domain experience.

• Partner with analytics, technology, engineering and business teams to turn data into insights.
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy models in production and support scalable AI solutions.

• Mentor colleagues and help build reusable frameworks and best practices.
