Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive intelligence behind marketing campaigns across global markets. You will lead end-to-end data science projects, building models for offer allocation and incremental impact per user, and deploy scalable ML pipelines in cloud environments.

The role emphasizes causal inference, uplift modelling, A/B testing, and collaboration with business leaders to translate complex results into actionable strategy and improved customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio of data science projects with commercial impact.
• Experience with uplift modelling, causal inference, and experimentation (A/B testing, RCTs).
• Experience with optimisation techniques for budget-constrained allocation.
• Production-quality Python code and experience with MLOps, containers and orchestration.
• Cloud platforms (GCP Vertex AI preferred, or AWS SageMaker) and large dataset handling with SQL/BigQuery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data science and AI projects from ideation to deployment.
• Build models predicting incremental impact per user, offer, and market.
• Develop scalable ML pipelines integrated into cloud infrastructure.
• Apply causal inference methods and experiments to measure real impact across markets.
• Translate model outcomes into clear business decisions with stakeholders.
