Job summary

Appsierra Group is seeking a senior data scientist to design and deploy AI/ML solutions for cybersecurity and identity access management. You will own end-to-end model development, from discovery through production deployment, collaborating with engineers and business stakeholders in Amsterdam.

The role focuses on scalable AI/LLM work, maintainable code, and thorough testing within regulated security contexts.

Qualifications

Senior-level data science experience with a strong track record in AI/ML.
Proficient in Python, PySpark and SQL, producing clean, maintainable, production-ready code.
Experience with MLOps tools such as Databricks, MLflow, CI/CD pipelines, testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

Identify, assess and prioritize AI/ML use cases for cybersecurity and Identity & Access Management.
Develop machine-learning models to detect anomalous user behaviour, suspicious access patterns and potential security threats.
Develop, test and deploy scalable AI/ML models for integration into cybersecurity platforms.
Build AI, LLM and advanced analytics solutions, including prompt design, structured outputs, evaluation and monitoring.
Bring analytical solutions into production with a strong focus on maintainability, testing and software delivery.
Independently take ownership of projects from discovery through to delivery.
Collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity specialists and business stakeholders.
