Job summary

Stravito AB is hiring a Senior Data Platform Engineer to own the data platform powering AI products used by thousands of professionals. You will build and operate data pipelines, design APIs, and ensure security and reliability.

The role is remote-first, with residency for tax in chosen locations. You will work with ClickHouse Cloud, Snowflake, Azure, and modern cloud infra; join a globally distributed team and influence engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Experience building data platforms in SaaS or cloud-native analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Kotlin; Rust or TS a plus.
• Hands-on experience with ClickHouse/Redshift/BigQuery/Snowflake/Azure Synapse.
• Experience designing, consuming, and maintaining APIs.
• Familiarity with RBAC, row-level security, OAuth, SAML/SSO.
• CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate data pipelines moving event streams and metadata into cloud data warehouses.
• Design and maintain analytics APIs with multi-tenant security baked in.
• Model schemas for BI and investigate data quality issues.
• Maintain security and reliability through tests and monitoring (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Power AI experiences with vector stores, indexing, and retrieval systems.
• Promote engineering best practices across the platform: CI/CD, reviews, IaC, API versioning.
