Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar technical role.
• Experience writing scalable Python code following OOP and SOLID principles.
• Experience with a modern lakehouse stack: Databricks (Spark), Delta Lake, Unity Catalog.
• Deep familiarity with data processing and streaming.
• Experience managing and supporting infrastructure in Azure or another public cloud, focusing on scalability and reliability.
• Strong communication and collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Tech savvy, pro-active and passionate about tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop our data platform and improve development processes with the team, ensuring stable, high-value releases.
• Build new integration types with sources like Kafka, Delta, Event Hub, and various file types.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (Terragrunt).
• Build modular, version-controlled infrastructure components that are easy to maintain and reuse.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to automate build, test, and deployment for infra and applications.
• Optimize large-scale data processing pipelines for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Apply security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and RBAC.
• Enable users to onboard their data and perform tasks via self-service platform.
• Design scalable solutions and support users with questions or issues.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into smart, fitting platform solutions.
