Job summary

Xomnia is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to define the architectural direction of data platforms and enable clients like KLM, Enexis, and Rabobank to operate at the frontier of data and AI. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute to internal standards while working from our Amsterdam HQ.

Fluency in English is essential; Dutch is a strong plus. Eligible to work in the Netherlands, you will join a diverse engineering community and shape impactful data

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or data-intensive backend systems with end-to-end ownership of production-grade platforms.
• Translate technical depth into clear direction for engineers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Proven experience designing scalable cloud architectures and leading technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead migration architecture discussions and shape data platform direction.
• Mentor engineers and act as a trusted technical advisor to clients.
• Architect, design, and optimize data pipelines processing large-scale data overnight.
