Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure powering analytics and product development. This fully remote role offers end-to-end ownership of ETL/ELT pipelines, transforming raw data into reliable datasets and collaborating with international teams.

You will work with cloud data platforms, modern warehousing, and data tooling to ensure high performance, observability, and cost efficiency across production environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL skills and data transformation proficiency.
• Programming in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT pipeline design and maintenance.
• Cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with modern data warehousing and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Develop data models, schemas, and transformation logic.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and reliability.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot data issues, and root-cause analysis.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and cost optimization.
