Job summary

IT Solutions Hub is seeking a capable Data Engineer to join our remote-first team. You will design and operate data pipelines, connect new sources to our data lake, and migrate ETL processes to DL 2.0 while implementing monitoring and observability.

We expect hands-on experience with Kafka, SQL, Python, PySpark, and AWS services, plus strong DataOps and secure coding practices. This role offers flexible remote work and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Kafka, SQL, Python and PySpark required.
• Hands-on ETL to data lake workflows and AWS native services.
• Experience with GitHub, CDK in Python and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong DataOps mindset and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Connect new source systems to the customer data lake.
• Migrate ETL processes to the new Data Lake (DL 2.0).
• Implement monitoring and alerts for data lake ETLs.
• Monitor and resolve ETL incidents in pre-prod and prod.
