Job summary

Rabobank is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to drive data capabilities in a hybrid Utrecht-based role. You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data products and analytics solutions that support Financial Crime Compliance insights and reporting.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology, mentor engineers, and own solution ownership from design to delivery in a modern cloud data ecosystem using Python, Spark, SQL, and Power BI.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and BI development.
Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, and YAML.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
Knowledge of Power BI report building and data modelling.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable data products and analytics solutions for FEC insight and reporting.
Ensure quality, reliability, and maintainability of the data landscape; promote standards and governance.
Mentor engineers, own solution ownership, and drive strategic evolution of the Data Capabilities domain.
