Job summary

Wypoon Technologies BV is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based solutions across Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments in the Netherlands.

You will work with real-time streaming, lakehouse architectures, and participate in translating business needs into robust technical designs with strong testing practices.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Data Engineering experience in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Strong experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.
• Experience with dbt or similar data transformation and modeling tools.
• Experience with GCP is preferred; strong Azure or AWS experience is also considered.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data transformation, and architecture design.
• Experience building clean, maintainable, production-grade code with appropriate testing strategies.
• Experience with data analysis workflows using Polars, Pandas, or similar libraries.
• Strong ability to translate business and product requirements into technical designs.
• Comfortable with context switching, independent ownership, stakeholder collaboration, and working in a product-oriented environment.
