For one of our top enterprise clients in the Netherlands, we are looking for a versatile AI & Automation Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team that builds scalable, enterprise-wide platforms by combining low-code technologies with high-code innovation.

In this role, you’ll contribute to a modular automation solution composed of PowerApps, microservices (robots), and custom-built front-end applications. You’ll be involved in expanding and maintaining an automation hub that processes tens of thousands of workflows per month, while integrating AI models through GPTs and Microsoft Foundry.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance PowerApps, Power Automate flows, and integrations via Dataverse and APIs.
Build and maintain microservices ("robots") in high‑code using TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
Integrate AI components using Azure Functions, Microsoft Foundry, or OpenAI APIs.
Optimize performance across high‑volume workflows (tens of thousands per month).
Work closely with business stakeholders to translate process logic into technical automation.
Create documentation and reusable components to support enterprise-wide usage.
Collaborate in short, iterative sprints in an Agile DevOps team.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience, ideally with a background in software or automation engineering.
Advanced proficiency in the English Language (at least B2 in speaking, writing, listening, and reading).
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Hands‑on experience with PowerApps, Logic Apps, or Power Platform solutions.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
Experience with SQL queries, relational databases, and API integrations.
Familiarity with AI/ML tools or APIs, especially GPT models or Microsoft Foundry.
Ability to work in dynamic, high‑change environments and switch between projects.
Strong analytical mindset, communication skills, and a collaborative attitude.
Experience with Kofax, UiPath, or similar RPA tooling.
Experience working in high‑volume enterprise systems or process‑heavy environments.
Background in business process analysis or process automation.
Affinity with secure development, CI/CD, and cloud deployment (Azure preferred).
