Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Senior Operations Maintenance Planner to own end-to-end maintenance planning, scheduling, and readiness for assigned sites. You will balance preventive maintenance, vendor capacity, site risk, and uptime constraints while coordinating with internal teams and third-party contractors.

The role requires strong planning discipline, risk-based prioritization, and clear communication to ensure stable, predictable operations across multi-building campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years in data center, mission critical, or maintenance role.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Own maintenance calendars for sites or campuses and prioritize tasks.
• Approve, defer, or resequence preventive maintenance based on risk and readiness.
• Oversee maintenance demands across buildings and systems.
• Ensure maintenance aligns with uptime protection strategies.
• Manage maintenance backlog health and aging.
