Job summary

Salute Inc. in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a Senior Data Centre Engineer to oversee electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems in a mission-critical datacenter.

You will manage preventive maintenance, incident response, and vendor coordination to ensure peak equipment availability. The role requires broad experience in power-related equipment (generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, HVAC) and a track record of safe, compliant operations.

• Experience in data center electrical/mechanical systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems in the data center.
• Ensure 99.999% uptime for mission-critical equipment and coordinate with vendors.
• Plan and execute planned preventative maintenance and respond to emergent issues.
• Log all contractor work and ensure adherence to approved procedures.
• Prepare method of procedures and communicate status to management and customers.
