Job summary

ING is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Expert - Quality Assurance to lead independent testing across the credit risk lifecycle. You will ensure controls are effective, compliant, and future-ready, guiding junior colleagues and driving remediation in global teams.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 10–15 years in credit risk, with strong leadership and stakeholder management. Hybrid work, international collaborations, and regulatory engagements are key aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree and 10–15 years of credit risk experience.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication are essential.
• Experience supervising junior colleagues and driving risk-control improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2LoD policy adherence testing, define testing methodology and planning cycles.
• Select risk-based samples using data analytics and guide junior colleagues in execution.
• Challenge credit risk execution and control processes across 1LoD, Risk, and GCR.
• Draft high-quality QA reports, register observations, and propose concrete improvements.
• Monitor control performance and ensure timely remediation of issues and gaps.
• Represent ING in regulatory and audit engagements, managing high-priority issues.
• Coach and mentor junior team members to foster excellence and continuous learning.
