Job summary

A leading energy and infrastructure firm is seeking a Contracts & Claims Manager to oversee post-award contract administration and claims management across complex projects. Candidates should have a law or engineering degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience. The role requires strong knowledge of standard contracts, and fluency in English is essential. This position is based in South Holland, Netherlands.

Qualifications

We are seeking a Contracts & Claims Manager to lead post-award contractual and commercial management across a portfolio of complex energy and infrastructure projects in the Netherlands and globally. The role focuses on safeguarding commercial interests through effective contract administration, claims management, and strategic risk mitigation during project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage post-award contract administration in accordance with contractual obligations and project objectives.
• Identify, prepare, and defend contractual claims, variations, and change orders.
• Advise project teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risk exposure.
• Support dispute avoidance and resolution through proactive contract management strategies.
• Liaise with legal, commercial, and project delivery teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting to support contractual positions and claim submissions.

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in contract and claims management within energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of standard forms (FIDIC, NEC, etc.) and bespoke contracts.
• International project exposure and fluency in English essential; Dutch language skills advantageous.
