Field Service Coordinator – Smart Technology | Amsterdam or Rotterdam (Hybrid)

A rapidly growing European tech scale-up is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to join its Deployment & Maintenance team in the Netherlands. This innovative company is transforming last-mile delivery through cutting-edge smart locker solutions and has recently expanded its operations in the region.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of field operations—coordinating and supporting smart locker installation and maintenance across the Netherlands. You’ll act as the key link between contractors, technicians, and internal teams, ensuring efficient service delivery and swift resolution of technical issues.

Initially remote from (Amsterdam or Rotterdam ). The role will evolve into a hybrid setup, once the office has been opened.

6-month freelance or Deel contract to start
Transitioning to a 1-year direct contract once the legal entity is fully established in the Netherlands
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate field activities such as site surveys, installations, and maintenance
Provide real-time support to technicians and contractors via phone, email, and chat
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to locker systems
Adjust task schedules dynamically based on technician availability and operational priorities
Track and document completed tasks for accurate invoicing
Manage and resolve field-related escalations promptly
Contribute to documentation, training materials, and process improvement initiatives
Stay up to date with product developments and operational updates to better support field teams
Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational abilities; capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment
B2 English and Fluent Dutch
Experience working with contractors and coordinating field or maintenance operations
Proactive and independent, with a hands-on mindset
Familiarity with maintenance/field service management software
Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment
