Job summary

Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Amsterdam seeks a Senior Consultant / Project Manager to lead modules on large client projects and contribute to business development. You will work closely with partners and manage teams, applying analytical methods to deliver outcomes.

Qualifications

• You have completed an academic university education (i.e. WO).
• You have between four and seven years of experience in strategy and/or management consulting or in strategic and/or operational roles at a large company or in the public sector. Prior involvement in retail and FMCG is a requirement.
• You are familiar with/experienced in financial modeling (Excel), visualizing presentations (PowerPoint) and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead for modules in larger projects, and complete project management of smaller projects (typically leading three to five consultants).
• Have direct client contact and lead presentations during client meetings.
• Coach and develop the consultants in your project teams.
• Work closely with industry experts at Roland Berger.
• Contribute to Roland Berger’s knowledge development by capturing insights and drawing lessons from client work.
• Take an active role in business development efforts.

What you will be doing

You will collaborate closely with partners, leveraging their vast international networks and expertise, which will provide you with exceptional exposure to a diverse range of clients and opportunities.

Your role in the team will be vital, leading projects to long-term success while also driving business development. You will work on diverse projects, ranging from customer centric format strategies and category management to supply chain optimization and performance optimization. Our requirements
