Job summary

Roland Berger Amsterdam seeks a Senior Consultant / Project Manager to lead mobility projects, guiding modules within larger initiatives and supervising several consultants. You will interact directly with clients, present findings, and mentor team members while collaborating with industry experts to shape strategic outcomes.

You will contribute to knowledge development and play an active role in business development, reporting to senior leadership on transformative mobility projects.

Qualifications

• You have completed an academic university education (WO).
• You have 4–7 years of strategy/management consulting experience.
• Mobility experience is required.
• You demonstrate analytical thinking and clear argumentation.
• You work with precision and are open-minded.
• You have experience managing others.
• You are fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Take the lead for modules in larger projects and manage smaller ones (typically 3–5 consultants).
• Direct client contact and lead presentations during client meetings.
• Coach and develop consultants in your project teams.
• Work closely with industry experts at Roland Berger.
• Contribute to knowledge development by capturing insights and lessons from client work.
• Participate in office-wide projects to advance Roland Berger’s thinking in a sector.
• Take an active role in business development efforts.

You will work closely with partners and (senior) colleagues specializing in mobility and transporation. As aSenior Consultant/ Project Managerat Roland Berger you will:

• Take the lead for modules in larger projects, and complete project management of smaller projects (typically leading three to five consultants).
• Have direct client contact and lead presentations during client meetings.
• Coach and develop the consultants in your project teams.
• Work closely with industry experts at Roland Berger.
• Contribute to Roland Berger’s knowledge development by capturing insights and drawing lessons from client work.
• Participate in office-wide projects (e.g. in-depth studies on current topics) that further develop Roland Berger or its thinking in a specific area or sector.
• Take an active role in business development efforts.

Our requirements

• You have completed an academic university education (i.e. WO).
• You have between four and seven years of experience in strategy and/or management consulting or in strategic and/or operational roles at a large company or in the public sector. Having prior involvement in mobilityis a requirement.
• You have technical affinity and commercial insight.
• You can think analytically and structure arguments clearly.
• You work with precision.
• You are open-minded.
• You have experience managing others and delegating work to more junior team members.
• You are familiar with/experienced in (financial) modeling (Excel), visualizing presentations (PowerPoint) and storytelling.
• You have good oral, written and presentation skills and an excellent command of the English language.
