Job summary

Roland Berger Amsterdam seeks a Senior Consultant / Project Manager to lead modules in large client projects and manage smaller engagements, guiding 3–5 consultants. You will coach junior team members, maintain direct client contact, and present findings in client meetings while collaborating with industry experts across the firm.

Ideal candidates have 2–6 years in strategy/management consulting or related roles, plus relevant chemical-industry experience, and a WO-level university degree.

Qualifications

• You have completed an academic university education (i.e. WO).
• You have between two and six years of experience in strategy and/or management consulting, and/or in strategic/business development and/or business roles at a large company.
• You have prior experience in the chemical industry or a closely adjacent industrial sector. Experience with areas such as specialty chemicals, ingredients, plastics, minerals, energy, water is relevant.

• Take the lead for modules in larger projects, and complete project management of smaller projects (typically leading three to five consultants).
• Coach and develop the consultants in your project teams.
• Have direct client contact and lead presentations during client meetings.

What you will be doing

You will contribute to high-impact projects shaping the future of the chemical industry and its adjacent sectors.
