Highberg zoekt een Senior Consultant Digital Law die cliënten in de publieke en semipublieke sector adviseert op juridische vraagstukken rondom data, AI en digitalisering. Je coördineert grote projecten, leidt teams en begeleidt collega’s in uitvoering en ontwikkeling.

Je bent AI-vaardig, kunt complexe vraagstukken vertalen naar praktisch beleid en onderhoudt sterke klantrelaties. Een WO-master in IT/privacy/health law en minimaal 8 jaar relevante ervaring zijn vereist.

Qualifikationen

• WO Master in Law met specialisatie IT, privacy en/of health law.
• Minimaal 8 jaar ervaring op het gebied van privacy, information security, IT-recht of soortgelijke gebieden.
• Commerciële vaardigheid, inclusief het schrijven van voorstellen en offertes.
• Uitstekende mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatie in het Nederlands.
• Ervaring in de publieke sector is een plus.
• Aanvullende opleiding of certificering in IT/privacy/health law (bijv. CIPP/E of Grotius Academy) is een plus.

Aufgaben

• Leiden van (interne) teams bij grote IT-projecten met juridische component.
• Educatie en training voor klanten op het gebied van digitale wetgeving.
• Uitvoeren van impact assessments van wetgeving en vertaalslag naar praktijksituaties.

About The Role

As a Senior consultant digital law at Highberg, you advise our clients in the public and semi-public sectors on various legal issues. You help our clients gain insight and oversight regarding all complex legal requirements concerning the use of data, AI, and digitization, and their implementation within an organization’s business processes: the essential link that translates legal matters into daily (IT) practice and communicates this in understandable language to various stakeholders.

About The Role

Your main role as Senior Consultant Digital Law

• Leading (internal) teams with other (junior) colleagues on large IT projects with a legal component, maintaining close contact with clients.
• Providing education and training for clients focused on digital legislation.
• Conducting impact assessments on various legislation (e.g., the Digital Government Act, Electronic Publications Act, and Data Governance Act), where you practically map out the impact of a law for the client.
• Carrying out implementation assignments to help clients comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Serving as a legal advisor within large organizations.

What are we asking?

• You have a completed WO (Master’s) degree in Law with a specialization in IT, privacy, and/or health law.
• You have at least 8 years of work experience in the field of privacy, information security, IT law, or similar areas.
• You are commercially skilled, including experience in writing project proposals and quotes.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch.
• Having experience in the public sector is a plus.
• Having additional education or certification in IT, privacy, and/or health law (such as CIPP/E or Grotius Academy in IT, data & law, or Privacy law) is a plus.
