Job summary

A leading consultancy in digital law located in Zoetermeer is seeking a Consultant in Digital Law. In this role, you will advise public and semi-public sector clients on legal matters related to digitalization and data regulations. Responsibilities include assessing the impact of regulations, conducting compliance projects, and maintaining client relationships. Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree in Dutch Law and at least 3 years of relevant experience. A competitive salary and benefits are offered.

  • A completed WO (Master’s) degree in Dutch Law or a related field.
  • Specialization in IT, privacy, healthcare law, or strong affinity with these areas.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in privacy, information security, IT law, or related disciplines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch.

About the role

As a Consultant in digital law at Highberg, you advise our clients in the public and semi-public sectors on various legal issues. You serve as the essential link between complex legal requirements concerning data and digitalization, and their implementation within organizational business processes.

Your main tasks at #Highberg
  • Helping clients gain an overview of all current and upcoming regulations related to digitalization and data
  • Collaborating with clients to assess the impact of these regulations on their specific organizational processes
  • Carrying out implementation projects to ensure clients comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Conducting assessments, including legally mandated ones, to verify compliance with laws and regulations
  • Drafting relevant documentation necessary for compliance purposes

  • Someone capable of quickly grasping a problem and articulating it in the simplest and most practical terms, both verbally and in writing
  • Someone who thrives on being challenged by multidisciplinary issues of a strategic nature involving various stakeholders
  • A sociable individual who enjoys maintaining client relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, and taking action upon them
What we are asking
