Cityförster in Rotterdam is seeking a senior Communications & PR Lead to shape our external visibility and public narrative. You will translate ideas, projects, and values into clear communication across platforms, languages, and audiences, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

You will lead positioning and press strategy, craft precise messages, and ensure the right tone, visuals, and timing across channels.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing skills in English; Dutch or German an advantage.
• Experience in communications or PR within the creative industries.
• Familiarity with architecture or design contexts is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of our communications strategy.
• Manage and mentor the communications team or coordinate external collaborators.
• Oversee media relations, press releases, and publications.
• Guide and edit award entries, project texts, and tenders.
• Curate and supervise social media, newsletters, and website content.
• Ensure consistency of brand identity and tone of voice.
