Job summary

DataSnipper is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Cloud Platform team in Amsterdam. You will design highly available, secure cloud infrastructure on Azure, build internal developer platforms, and advance Infrastructure V2 initiatives.

You’ll own CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and improve observability with Grafana/Prometheus while collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infra roles delivering large-scale cloud solutions.
• Strong experience with Azure (preferred) and other cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
• Mastery of CI/CD tooling and automation for reliable deployments.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure.
• Build and evolve internal developer platform for provisioning, deployment, and service creation.
• Drive Infrastructure V2 by automating provisioning and reducing manual work.
• Design self-service workflows for environments, deployments, and changes.
• Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Improve observability and alerting using Grafana and Prometheus.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Collaborate with engineering during releases, migrations, and scaling.
• Own platform metrics across reliability, productivity, security, and SOC2 controls.
• Coach teams on reliability, observability, and automation.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
