Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr Cloud Architect to design secure, scalable GCP-based solutions for banking clients with a hybrid work model. You will define cloud foundations, modernize applications, and establish best practices to deliver compliant, cost-efficient platforms.

You will collaborate with architecture teams across Azure, AWS and on-prem environments, driving security, reliability and maintainability while promoting higher-level solutions like containers.

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure, scalable cloud architectures for financial services.
• Experience establishing best practices with Cloud Foundation Toolkit.
• Certification: Professional Cloud Architect (GCP) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design VM services across Azure, AWS and on‑prem environments.
• Ensure security and compliance for VM services.
• Collaborate with other solution architects to align platform with standards.
• Lead the VM platform team with the Product Owner and Tech Lead.
• Communicate architectural vision and roadmap to stakeholders.
