Job summary

McFly & Brown is seeking a Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer to design, build and evolve reliable cloud platforms in the Eindhoven region. You will enable high-tech product teams by providing scalable GCP-based infrastructure, secure IAM, network configurations and automated deployments.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform and GitOps with Argo CD, ensuring robust monitoring, incident response and performance optimization across projects in semiconductors, analytical equipment and

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field with 5+ years in DevOps/Platform/SRE/Cloud Eng.
Hands-on experience with cloud infra, Kubernetes, containers and IaC, preferably Google Cloud & Terraform.
Experience with CI/CD and automation, plus observability, security and platform reliability.
Structured incident management: diagnose issues, communicate impact, drive improvements.
Strong communication, service mindset and Agile experience.
Plus: Python or scripting languages.

Responsibilities

Build and run Google Cloud infrastructure (GKE, IAM, networking, load balancers).
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Build (Bash/Python).
Manage IaC with Terraform and automate GitOps using Argo CD.
Improve reliability, security, performance and monitoring including logging/alerts.
Translate stakeholder needs into platform improvements and perform root-cause analyses.
