Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join an innovative BioTech company in Boxmeer. This role focuses on Microsoft Azure and other public cloud platforms, with expertise in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and hybrid computing environments. You will work with the architecture team and Software Engineers to define and implement standards for cloud-based applications, automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling, and ensure high availability, reliability, security, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop AVD and Intune profiles in line with business requirements.
• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure and configurations as code using tools like Terraform
• Build workload-specific infrastructure environments in Azure with a focus on high availability, disaster recovery, security, and monitoring
• Maintain, monitor, and support platform services and environments to ensure performance and uptime
• Diagnose and resolve complex systems, software, and connectivity issues
• Automate processes through scripting and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve cost efficiency and operational excellence
• Integrate cloud solutions with other platforms and applications
• Develop alerts, monitoring techniques, and health-check solutions to proactively address potential issues
• Communicate incidents, resolutions, and updates to stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership
• Ensure adherence to processes such as backups, maintenance schedules, and operational standards
