NIBC is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to maintain and enhance a centralized Cloud Data Platform within the Data & Analytics department. You will enable multiple business teams, onboard core data, and ensure a secure, scalable platform, integrating with ABN AMRO systems during the merger.

Role emphasizes Terraform-based infrastructure, Azure pipelines, and tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, DBT, and Python.

Qualifications

• Senior Platform Engineer with focus on cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Terraform and Azure pipelines.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and DBT.

Responsabilités

• Improve the platform to enable scalability and reduce maintenance and compute costs.
• Implement solutions within the Cloud Platform meeting business needs and standards.
• Provide solution designs and understand IT migration constraints and timelines.
• Ensure high data quality through testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with business domain, IT experts, and Data & Analytics teams.
• Adhere to IT security standards and best practices.
• Document ingestion patterns and architectural decisions; maintain the wiki.
• Engage in continuous learning and skill development; leverage development budget.
