Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager (Civil Infrastructure) for Zevenbergen, Netherlands. The role focuses on ownership of delivery, coordination, and stakeholder management across the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering background and 5+ years' experience delivering tunnels, bridges, or other large-scale civil projects, with 4–5 on-site days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Desirable)
• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering civil or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience on tunnel, bridge, underpass, rail, highway, or complex civil structure projects
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project controls
• Experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary project teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Zevenbergen 4-5 days per week

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a major civil infrastructure project from construction through to completion.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, designers, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Drive project planning, execution, risk management, and reporting activities.
• Manage technical, commercial, and project delivery challenges.
• Monitor progress and ensure project objectives and milestones are achieved.
• Provide strong leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.
