Job summary

HoSt Group & Bright Renewables seeks a Senior Product Developer to lead development and standardisation of carbon capture technologies at our Enschede office. You will steer product strategy, collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Supply, and drive innovations worldwide.

Based in Enschede, you will manage development plans, budgets, and technical standards, while engaging with international partners to scale sustainable energy solutions with a hands-on, pragmatic approach.

Qualifications

• A completed technical degree at Master’s level (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or similar).
• At least 5 to 8 years’ practical experience in a technical product development environment, or a background in engineering.
• Experience of independently managing complex development projects and making technical decisions at product level.
• Experience of stakeholder management within multidisciplinary and international organisations is an advantage.
• A proactive and committed approach to work, with a pragmatic mindset.
• A results-oriented approach and the drive to achieve success together with the team.
• A good command of both Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Drawing up the annual product development plan and monitoring the associated budget;
• Taking ownership of the technical standards and long-term development of our Carbon Capture technology;
• Initiating and implementing product improvements, new functionalities and technical standards that contribute to the further professionalisation and scalability of our Carbon Capture technology;
• Carrying out technical analyses and identifying opportunities for improvement to continuously optimise the performance, reliability, cost-efficiency and standardisation of our systems;
• Managing product development and maintenance activities, monitoring progress, setting priorities and ensuring timely decision-making and delivery;
• Acting as a technical sparring partner for Sales on commercial and strategic customer issues.
• Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with international suppliers and technology partners.
