Job summary

Ampstek is seeking a Capital Markets Business Analyst with deep crypto domain knowledge to join our Amsterdam team on a hybrid basis. You will draft detailed requirements from the business side, help shape product roadmaps, and independently perform analysis across DeFi and TradFi spaces.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into specs and user stories, defining end-to-end workflows, and collaborating with front offices, trading desks, custody operations, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years as Business Analyst / Functional Analyst in Financial Services.
• Strong exposure to Capital Markets (Securities Lifecycle, Trading, Custody).
• Hands-on experience in Digital Assets, Crypto Custody, Wallets, or Trading platforms.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement discovery and impact analysis across Defi and TradFi space.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and technical artifacts.
• Define end-to-end workflows spanning onboarding, trading, settlement, and asset servicing.
• Collaborate closely with front offices, trading desks, custody operations, compliance, and engineering teams.
• Support Agile ceremonies – backlog grooming, sprint planning, prioritization, and demos.
• Act as Proxy Product Owner, driving backlog prioritization and delivery outcomes.
• Develop process models, data flows, and integration requirements (APIs, platforms).
• Support UAT, release readiness, and production validation.
