Job summary

HR Ways is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead discovery and analysis for Digital Assets and Capital Markets in Amsterdam. You will partner with front office, trading desks, custody teams, and compliance to translate business needs into actionable requirements in a hybrid work setup.

The role demands 7+ years in business analysis within capital markets, deep crypto knowledge, familiarity with custody platforms, tokenized assets, and regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• Capital Markets knowledge including Trade Lifecycle, Settlement & Reconciliation.
• Experience with Digital Assets, Cryptocurrencies, Stablecoins, Wallets and Trading Platforms.
• Blockchain and Digital Assets concepts (Tokenization, DLT platforms).
• AML, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, and Regulatory Compliance understanding.
• Business Analysis in Agile environments (User Stories, Backlog, Acceptance Criteria).
• Requirement Translation (Business, Functional, Technical).

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement discovery and impact analysis across Defi and TradFi space
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and technical artifacts
• Define end-to-end workflows spanning onboarding, trading, settlement, and asset servicing
• Collaborate closely with front offices, trading desks, custody operations, compliance, and engineering teams
• Support Agile ceremonies – backlog grooming, sprint planning, prioritization, and demos
• Act as Proxy Product Owner, driving backlog prioritization and delivery outcomes
• Develop process models, data flows, and integration requirements (APIs, platforms)
• Support UAT, release readiness, and production validation
