Job summary

Frencken Group seeks an experienced CAM Engineer to join the Work Preparation department. You translate drawings into working methods, define routings, and approve clamping, tools, and CNC programs for each operation.

You will prepare orders, write TopSolid 7 CNC programs, and coordinate with Quality to improve throughput, quality, and cost, while maintaining sub-micron tolerances and high precision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 7+ years' CNC milling experience with 5+ years as CAM programmer.
• Experience with CAM systems and macro programming.
• Solid knowledge of materials, machining technology, and clamping.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production orders and guide them through production.
• Write CNC programs in TopSolid 7.
• Define routing, clamping strategies, tool lists and fixtures per operation.
• Coordinate with Quality throughout production.
• Coordinate and optimise operations to improve quality, throughput, and cost.
