Job summary

Frencken Eindhoven is seeking a CAM Engineer in the Work Preparation department to translate drawings into working methods, routing across machines, and CNC program decisions, managing orders from start to finish.

You will write CNC programs in TopSolid7, define routing and tooling per operation, and coordinate with Quality to improve throughput and cost. Fluent English is required; Dutch language skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years’ CNC milling experience with 5+ years as a CAM programmer.
• Experience with CAM systems and macro programming on machining centres and rotary‑milling setups.
• Solid knowledge of materials, machining technology, clamping technology, and CNC production.
• Proactive, flexible, and ambitious; able to work at sub‑micron tolerances.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills preferred.

Your role as CAM Engineer

As a CAM Engineer in the Work Preparation department you translate customer drawings and specifications into the working method, sequence, and processing conditions that bring each part to life. You define the routing across departments and machines, make decisions on clamping, tool lists, fixtures, and CNC programs, and manage the production orders from start to finish.

• Proactive, flexible, and ambitious, able to work at sub‑micron tolerances.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.

Preferred

• Knowledge of Siemens840D control.
• Dutch language skills.
