Frencken is seeking a CAM Engineer in the Netherlands to translate customer drawings into working methods, define routing, and approve CNC programs for each operation. You will work in the Work Preparation department, focusing on precision and process optimization.
The role requires 7+ years in CNC milling, with 5+ years as a CAM programmer, and fluency in English. Prior experience with CAM systems and macro programming is essential. Dutch language skills are a plus.
Frencken is a high-precision manufacturing partner for the world's most demanding industries - semionductor equipment, medical technology, and analytical systems. We're part of Frencken Group, a listed high-tech company with a global footprint. We are a team of specialists who know each other, take pride in the work, and combine the most modern production technologies with genuine craftsmanship. Informal culture, short lines, and a shared standard of excellence.
As CAM Engineer, you sit at the starting point of every new product we make. In our Work Preparation department you translate customer drawings and specifications into the working method, sequence, and processing conditions that bring each part to life. You define the routing across departments and machines, and you make the call on clamping, tool lists, fixtures, and CNC programs for every operation.
An expert in machining - especially CNC milling - with strong technical insight and an eye for optimisation. You're proactive, flexible, and genuinely energised by working on products where tolerances are measured in microns and there's no room for guesswork. You think in processes, spot the smarter route, and bring people with you.
You'll work on products that truly matter, for customers with the highest standards, in an organisation that never stops getting better. Craftsmanship, collaboration, and continuous improvement every single day.
