Cboe Europe is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to build and operate the real-time trading infrastructure for one of Europe’s largest equity markets.

You'll own features end-to-end, mentor engineers, and collaborate with teams across Europe and the US to deliver high-performance trading systems. The role offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong focus on quality and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with modern C++ (C++11+), high-performance code.
• Proven track record taking features from design to production.
• Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Strong Linux development background and real-time systems exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and extend high-performance C++ across trading environments.
• Build systems with emphasis on quality, testability and production readiness.
• Own features end-to-end, coordinating with engineers and business stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and act as subject matter expert for key systems.
• Participate in interviewing and evaluating software engineers.
• Provide technical support and resolve complex production issues.
• Provide support outside of normal hours as needed.
