Job summary

Fionics in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior C++ Engineer to build and optimize ultra-low-latency trading systems. You will own components end-to-end, work closely with traders and quants, and contribute to measurable performance improvements in a high-rate environment.

Candidates should have strong production experience with modern C++ (C++17/20), deep systems programming, Linux, and multithreading. Nice to have: Python, FPGA exposure, and experience in HFT or market-making.

We're hiring a Senior C++ Engineer for a leading Amsterdam-based HFT firm. A global market maker known for ultra-low latency systems, proprietary technology, and best-in-class infrastructure.

This is a role where nanoseconds matter and your code has a direct, measurable impact on trading performance. You'll work alongside traders, quants, and researchers in a deeply technical environment with real ownership and short feedback loops.
