Job summary

Trinamics is seeking a senior Business Continuity Management (BCM) professional to update and drive runbooks, validate strategy and coordinate cross-functional recovery exercises. You will connect business recovery requirements with IT capabilities, manage ownership and RACI, and plan resources through 2027.

The role requires 5–10 years in complex, global tech settings, strong English communication, and proven experience with BIA, recovery strategies, runbooks, testing and tabletop exercises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, information security, risk management or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of experience in complex, international, tech environments.
• Proven experience with Business Impact Analysis, recovery strategies, continuity and recovery runbooks, dependency mapping and recovery testing.
• Experience connecting business recovery requirements to applications, data, infrastructure, suppliers and IT service recovery capabilities.
• An evidence-driven approach with the confidence to challenge assumptions when evidence is insufficient.
• Experience designing and facilitating tabletop walkthroughs and hands-on recovery exercises.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills, and clear English communication.

Responsibilities

• Update and drive IT and business continuity runbooks through 2027.
• Validate the Business Continuity Master Runbook design, ownership model and RACI.
• Define and collect runbooks, applications and data sets for loading into continuity tooling.
• Develop or review recovery scenarios, run hands-on recovery exercises and consolidate improvements.
• Lead end-to-end continuity and recovery exercises across runbooks, departments or sites.
• Coordinate creation and peer review of recovery runbooks for business-critical applications.
• Link business recovery requirements to IT continuity capabilities and support IT-delivered enablers.
• Review test strategy with Security, BCM and IT teams and share current practices.
• Plan resources to deliver continuity scope through 2027, coordinate workshops and report progress.

Job description

• You update the sector business runbooks, create IT runbooks and drive closure of critical open actions.
• You validate the design and content of the Business Continuity Master Runbook, including its lifecycle model, ownership model and RACI.
• You define and collect runbooks, business applications and business-critical data sets and coordinate their loading into the continuity tooling.
• You develop or review recovery scenarios and test scripts, run hands-on recovery exercises, validate outcomes and consolidate the improvement plan.
• You set up and drive end-to-end business continuity and recovery exercises across runbooks, departments or sites.
• You coordinate the creation and peer review of recovery runbooks for business-managed applications.
• You connect business recovery requirements to IT continuity and disaster recovery capabilities and support user acceptance testing of IT-delivered enablers.
• You review the test strategy with Security, Corporate/IT BCM and IT teams and share current operational practices.
• You plan the resources needed to deliver the continuity scope through 2027, coordinate workshops and report on progress, risks, readiness and decisions.

Must-haves

• A bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Information Security, Risk Management or a comparable field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in complex, international, technology-driven environments.
• Proven experience with Business Impact Analysis, recovery strategies, continuity and recovery runbooks, dependency mapping and recovery testing.
• Experience connecting business recovery requirements to applications, data, infrastructure, suppliers and IT service recovery capabilities.
• A pragmatic, evidence-driven approach, with the confidence to challenge assumptions when evidence is not sufficient.
• Experience designing and facilitating tabletop walkthroughs and hands-on business and IT recovery exercises.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills, and clear communication in English.

Nice-to-haves

• A certification such as CBCI, CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, ITIL, CISM, CISA or CISSP.
• Practical familiarity with ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 27031 and ITIL.
• The ability to judge whether test evidence proves preventive, detective and recovery measures are effective.
• Strong project management skills, attention to detail and disciplined follow-through.
• Dutch language skills.

• A gross monthly salary between € 5,800 and € 7,400, depending on education and experience.
