As Anteryon continues to grow year on year and further expands its international footprint across multiple countries, the complexity and importance of financial steering are increasing. To support this growth, we are strengthening our Business Control function. In this role, you will help enhance financial insights, professionalize processes and reporting, and support management in making well-informed, data-driven decisions.

The job

As Senior Business Controller, you act as a financial business partner to management, connecting operational performance with financial planning and business priorities. You independently assess complex business issues, challenge assumptions, and translate your findings into clear recommendations.

You take a leading role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, in close collaboration with finance leadership and report to the CFO. You look beyond reporting results to anticipate developments, evaluate alternatives, and help management determine the actions needed. You remain hands-on in financial analysis while driving improvements in financial processes, management information, and cross-functional collaboration, all built on a strong data-driven foundation.

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Planning and Control: Lead and coordinate the budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes. Ensure alignment between commercial expectations, operational capacity, investment plans, and financial outcomes.
  • Management advice: Independently advise management on financial performance, profitability, and resource allocation. Challenge assumptions constructively and explain the financial consequences of alternative decisions.
  • Performance management: Continuously improve the KPI framework, identify the underlying drivers of performance, and translate deviations into clear recommendations and improvement priorities.
  • Costing, profitability, and working capital: Lead analyses of cost structures, product and customer profitability, production efficiency, inventory, and work in progress. Challenge costing assumptions and recommend actions to improve margins and capital efficiency.
  • Investments and business cases: Take ownership of financial evaluations for capital investments, capacity expansions, development projects, and improvement initiatives. Assess returns, cash flow, sensitivities, and risks, and monitor results after implementation.
  • Forward‑looking analysis: Develop scenarios and financial projections, anticipate risks and opportunities, and help management assess their potential impact and available responses.
  • Process improvement: Initiate and drive improvements in relevant processes based on business control activities. Work closely with Management/ leaderschip team, Financial Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to improve data reliability, streamline workflows, and continuous aim to reduce manual work.
  • Month-, quarter-, and year-end closing: Play an active Business Control role in the financial closing process by reviewing business performance, analyzing variances, validating key financial and operational figures, and ensuring that management receives a clear and reliable explanation of results.
  • Reporting improvement: Develop and enhance management reporting, ERP-based reporting, and Power BI dashboards to provide reliable, efficient, and actionable information for decision-making.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and coaching: Lead the financial contribution to improvement projects, challenge the quality of analyses, and share knowledge with less experienced colleagues and non-financial stakeholders.
We are looking for
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance & Control, Business Economics, or a comparable field.
  • At least 6–8 years of relevant experience in Business Control, Financial Control, FP&A, or a closely related role, including demonstrable experience independently advising management and taking ownership of financial planning, reporting, or improvement processes.
  • A strong understanding of cost accounting, profitability, inventory, working capital, and investment analysis. Experience in a manufacturing or similarly operationally complex environment is strongly preferred.
  • The ability to translate operational developments and business priorities into financial scenarios and actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with Power BI, including translating management information needs into effective reporting and dashboards.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems and the connections between production processes, financial transactions, and management information.
  • A proven ability to drive improvements, coordinate cross-functional activities, and influence stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
  • Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the confidence to challenge management constructively while remaining pragmatic, collaborative, and hands-on.
  • Experience working in an international or multi‑entity environment is considered a strong advantage.
We offer
  • A competitive salary depending on experience,
  • 25 vacation days and 5 additional leave days (with the option to purchase up to 8 extra days),
