Job summary

Maxwell Bond is seeking aSenior Business Analyst to support a major transformation programme for a leading global CPG client. You will work with senior stakeholders, product and technical teams to deliver customer data, analytics and digital product initiatives in a hybrid Rotterdam setup.

You will gather requirements, translate needs into deliverables, run stakeholder workshops, and drive end-to-end delivery from inception through implementation, ensuring regulatory and operational compliance

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale transformation or change programmes.
• Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector is essential.
• Strong stakeholder management across all organisational levels.
• Collaboration with software engineering, product and technical delivery teams.
• Experience with customer data initiatives, data platforms or data-focused transformations.
• Exposure to consumer analytics, reporting and insight-driven initiatives.
• Experience operating in regulated environments.
• Hands-on use of Azure DevOps and Jira for delivery tracking and reporting.

Senior Business Analyst

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite)
Salary: Up to €100,000 + 15% Bonus
Contract: 24-Month Fixed-Term Contract

We are working with a leading consultancy that has secured a long-term engagement with a global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organisation and is looking to hire an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a major transformation programme.

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-profile, business-critical initiative where you will work closely with senior stakeholders, product teams, project delivery functions, and technical teams to deliver strategic change across customer data, consumer analytics, and digital product initiatives.

The programme focuses on modernising capabilities and processes within a complex CPG environment, with particular emphasis on customer data, analytics, and technology-enabled business change. You will work across both business and technical functions to ensure successful delivery against transformation goals.

As theSenior Business Analyst, you'll:

• Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for delivery teams.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements gathering activities.
• Support the delivery of complex transformation initiatives from inception through to implementation.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams on application and product development initiatives.
• Define user stories, business processes, acceptance criteria, and solution requirements.
• Analyse and improve business processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation and innovation.
• Support programmes involving customer data management, consumer insights, and analytics platforms.
• Track progress, manage requirements, and produce delivery reporting through Azure DevOps and Jira.
• Build strong relationships across both consultancy and client teams, ensuring alignment throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions comply with business, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Required Experience:

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst within large-scale transformation or change programmes.
• Previous experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector is essential.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organisation.
• Experience working closely with software engineering, product, and technical delivery teams.
• Proven involvement in product or application development projects.
• Experience working with internal customer data initiatives, customer data platforms, or data-focused transformation programmes.
• Strong exposure to consumer analytics, reporting, and insight-driven business initiatives.
• Experience operating within regulated environments.
• Demonstrable project delivery experience, supporting successful end-to-end programme execution.
• Strong requirements gathering, business process modelling, and documentation skills.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Jira, including delivery tracking, backlog management, and reporting.
