Job summary

Booking.com is seeking an iOS engineer to help develop, improve and scale world-class traveler apps across web and mobile with a component-based architecture. You will work on the stack behind early stages of the accommodation journey, from search to room selection, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality experiences.

You will focus on modernizing the stack, reducing legacy dependencies, and building APIs to support fast, reliable, user-centric interfaces.

Qualifications

1-3 years iOS application development using iOS SDK.
Proven experience of Swift and SwiftUI.
Good understanding of Xcode and integrating back-end code into iOS app.
Self-starter, highly motivated, team-player.
Excellent attention to detail.
Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications and environments.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and scale iOS apps with focus on performance and reliability.
Collaborate with frontend, backend, product and QA to ship features.
Decouple frontend and backend, move logic into well-defined services and APIs.
Improve data models, testing, observability and experimentation across platforms.
Ensure high quality of Booking.com app in production by monitoring crashes and solving bugs.
Contribute to release and build processes for new features.
