ASICS, located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, is seeking a Senior BI Engineer to lead the development and optimisation of back-end BI solutions that deliver actionable insights across the organisation. You will drive data governance, integration, and best-practice adoption across EMEA, collaborating cross-functionally to enhance data literacy and BI usage.

Your role focuses on designing robust data models, integrating data pipelines, and ensuring scalable, cost-efficient BI platforms

Formación

• Extensive SQL and relational database expertise.
• Experience with Snowflake and DBT; Azure Data Factory preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience establishing CI/CD standards for data engineering projects.
• Demonstrated success leading significant ETL and database projects.

Responsabilidades

• Define and prioritise technical requirements that align with the overall business strategy whilst translating complex business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Lead data integration initiatives and orchestrate sophisticated data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow across the organisation.
• Design advanced data models and database schemas whilst implementing comprehensive data transformation, cleansing, validation and enrichment processes.
• Optimise database platforms to enhance performance, scalability and cost-effectiveness across all BI operations.
• Establish robust documentation and version control systems whilst ensuring full compliance with data privacy regulations and managing access controls.
• Provide expert support and training to peers and stakeholders through effective troubleshooting and incident management approaches.
• Drive BI adoption and enhance data literacy across the EMEA organisation through continuous improvement initiatives and targeted development programmes.
