Job summary

Contentstack is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Architect to shape analytical architecture, data modeling standards, and governance across enterprise reporting and AI-enabled analytics. You will define modeling standards, lead governance, and partner with Data Engineering, BI & Analytics, Revenue Operations, Finance, and executives to build a trusted foundation for data-driven decision-making.

You will establish scalable modeling frameworks across Snowflake and dbt, lead semantic modeling

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture.
• At least 3 years in an architect capacity with ownership of an analytical platform.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture and RBAC, performance optimization.
• Expert-level dbt experience: staging, intermediate, mart, testing, docs.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional and semantic modeling for governed metrics.
• Production semantic layers and governance across BI platforms, analytics apps and AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise modeling standards across staging, intermediate, dimensional, fact, semantic, and mart layers.
• Design and implement reusable business entities, semantic models, and enterprise metrics.
• Set standards for dbt development, testing, Git workflows, CI/CD, deployment reliability and observability.
• Design governed access patterns for applications and AI agents using Snowflake data (RBAC, APIs, service layers).
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI & Analytics, Revenue Ops, Finance and executives to translate requirements into trusted data models.
• Mentor analytics engineers on modular architecture and reusable modeling patterns.
• Evaluate tools and governance capabilities to support long-term scalability and reduce technical debt.
