Job summary

HR ProjectPartners BV in Rotterdam is seeking a Data Architect to build a reliable, well-governed data platform on Databricks. You’ll bring information from many systems and spreadsheets together in one place so teams can rely on it for reporting, forecasting and emerging AI tools.

You will design lakehouse structures, develop core data models, and ensure data quality, access control, and lineage. You’ll collaborate with finance, security and platform teams to enable analytics and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale Databricks data platforms.
• Strong SQL and PySpark skills.
• Knowledge of data modelling, metadata, and lineage.
• Experience connecting data to apps, APIs or automation tools.
• Comfortable leading workshops and communicating with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The work

• Put checks in place so errors are caught, fixed and tracked;
• Manage access and data lineage through Unity Catalog;
• Get datasets ready for analytics and AI-driven use cases;
• Work closely with finance, security and platform colleagues.

Your background

• Databricks architecture experience at enterprise scale;
• Solid SQL and PySpark;
• Data modelling, metadata and lineage know-how;
• Experience connecting data to apps, APIs or automation tools;
• Comfortable leading workshops and talking to non-technical stakeholders.
