Job summary

Nedap is seeking a Backend Developer (Go) to work on a scalable SaaS platform for managing access in large organisations. You’ll contribute to the core platform, including digital twin modelling of buildings and access passes, collaborating with engineering, product and design teams for customer-driven value.

You’ll join two engineering teams with initiative and autonomy, driving architectural decisions and improving the platform and processes while growing in a start-up mindset within a global

Qualifications

• Approximately 7+ years of backend development experience in production.
• Experience with Go or a comparable backend language (e.g. C/C#, .NET, Java, PHP).
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design and clear architectural principles (e.g. Clean Architecture).
• Experience with event-driven architecture (e.g. Kafka) is an advantage.
• Strong focus on maintainability and scalability of code.
• Good command of English and preferably Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and reliable Go functionality.
• Contribute to platform direction and development.
• Support enterprise environments with up to 100,000 users per client.
• Write maintainable, thoroughly tested code and conduct code reviews.
• Translate complex domain challenges into concrete solutions.
• Work on solutions for complex access and security issues.
• Mentor less experienced developers.
• Identify architecture and process improvements.
