Job summary

Flow Traders is building the next generation of its post-trade platform, covering trade capture, reconciliation, settlement, booking, reporting, and operational workflows across Equities, ETFs, Fixed Income, and Crypto. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own key post-trade domains and shape the platform architecture with reliable, automated, data-driven services.

This role suits an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, systems thinking, and delivering high-quality platforms

Qualifications

• 5+ years building distributed backend systems.
• Proficient in Java or C++, with Python exposure.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, SQL, and data modelling.
• Ability to own complex technical domains from design to production.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop post-trade domains such as reconciliation, settlement, booking, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Trading, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Data teams to understand workflows and requirements.
• Design and build scalable backend services and data pipelines.
• Improve automation, data quality, resilience, and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the target architecture and technical roadmap of the post-trade platform.
• Ensure observability, reliability, and data correctness across systems.
